Designed for Sony E-mount full-frame mirrorless camera systems, this lens provides a minimum focusing distance of 15.8" across the entire zoom, ensuring your ability to capture detailed close-ups of your subjects. Driven by an HLA motor, this lens delivers quiet and precise autofocusing, and its rounded 12-blade diaphragm ensures pleasing and circular bokeh. This lens repels damage from outside elements by coupling a water- and oil-repellant front lens element coating with a dust- and splash-resistant design. Lens Features Two AF-L buttons are available to be programmed based on your shooting needs. A zoom lock switch prevents the lens from accidentally extending. The lockable aperture ring with click/de-click function enables smooth adjustments and prevents unintentional value changes. Optical Design Two F Low Dispersion (FLD) and one Special Low Dispersion (SLD) elements markedly reduce chromatic aberrations and color fringing throughout the zoom range for improved clarity and color accuracy.
